The two planned major events with the 14th International Congress MID and the joint booth at electronica 2020 of the Research Association unfortunately had to be cancelled. The LOPEC in March was also cancelled and will take place virtually next year 2021.
Nevertheless, the Research Association can look back on a successful year in which the online formats were extensively revised.
Homepage
The homepage has been completely redesigned and now offers an optimized user experience as well as the latest project ideas, technology videos and an interactive overview of our members.
Application database
The WebMIDis application database was also updated to bring it up to the latest technical and visual standards. Here members can view current MID applications and filter according to the technologies, materials and industries used.

Image brochure
Through numerous advertisements from our members a new edition of the image brochure for the external presentation of the Research Association in printed and virtual format could be created. This brochure summarizes the activity profile and the structure of the Research Association in a short and understandable way and gives an overview of its objectives. In addition, the image brochure includes an interview with the Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Franke, technology videos and product photos.

The newsletter has been adapted to the current new regulations, visually revised and now offers interested persons the latest news of our work, research projects and developments of our members once a month.
