5th Network Meeting Printed Electronics Franconia

5th Network Meeting Printed Electronics Franconia
“Hybrid Electronics: The Best of Two Worlds”

September 24, 2019, 4:30-7:30 pm
Fraunhofer IISB, Schottkystraße 10, 91058 Erlangen

(Established) electronic products and components are subject to ever increasing technical requirements, but also with regard to resource and energy efficiency. Three elementary properties will therefore be decisive for the future success of electronics: thin, flexible and light. Printed electronics is a key technology for this. By developing hybrid electronic systems that combine the advantages of the worlds of printed and conventional electronic components, the new performance requirements can be transferred to established electronic products or completely new products can be developed.

At the 5th network meeting of the network platform Printed Electronics Franken, experts from printed and conventional electronics development as well as from various application industries will come together to exchange ideas on new technologies and processes.

This time we could win the following regional experts as impulse generator for the network meeting:

  • Christian Göbl, Head of new technologies, SEMIKRON Elektronik GmbH & Co. KG
  • Johannes Hörber, Product Development Manager, Neotech AMT GmbH
  • Dr. Michael Jank, Group Leader Thin Film Technologies, Fraunhofer IISB
  • Prof. Dr. Marcus Reichenberger, Nuremberg University of Technology Georg Simon Ohm, Institute for Chemistry, Materials and Product Development
